Study 12 / Resources / branching / connection
A living logic
of connection.
Explore networks that grow, share and reroute. Place resources, introduce obstacles, and weigh economy against redundancy.
Open the instrument ↗01 / Source atlas
Observe. Read. Interpret.
Documented practices and research provide a starting point. The drawings and interactive rules here are original interpretations; each entry keeps its own context.
02 / Interactive instrument
The network garden.
Place resources and obstacles in the drawing. Compare a tree with a more connected network.
SVG retains source references and parameters. Animation is paused until you choose to play.
Model, interpretation & limits
This is a geometric network-design model, not a simulation of a living organism, fungal intelligence or fluid transport. Routes use a visibility graph and shortest paths around circular obstacles; a minimum spanning tree connects resources, with optional extra links. Length is measured in drawing units.
Exports preserve the current frame, seed, settings and source references. Distances use drawing units, not a surveyed site scale.
