Study 15 / cells, flowers & moving light

A cell.
A flower.
A becoming.

Overlay human-cell-inspired contours with lotus petals, radial leaves and floral rosettes. Let one outline become another, then carry the movement into light.

Related forms.
Different living worlds.

These are original procedural drawings informed by cell and plant references. Their visual resemblance is an artistic comparison, not a claim of shared function or a measured biological transformation.

Cyan: cell study. Pink: plant study.
Ivory: the interpolated envelope.

Animation begins when you press Play. The clean output stays synced to these controls.

03 / Take the movement further

From screen
to moving light.

Export a loop, record a video, or capture a clean output window live. The website creates artwork; LaserOS handles laser rendering and device control.

Vector sequence / LaserOS

SVG animation folder

A ZIP with consecutive morph-001.svg frames, settings and an import guide. Each frame contains outline paths with no background rectangle or live text.

Animated file / browser

A looping vector file

One animated SVG for compatible browsers and vector workflows. LaserOS uses the numbered frame folder rather than this SMIL animation.

Video / real-time recording

Record this loop

Record the same line artwork to WebM or MP4, depending on browser support. Recording takes the loop’s actual duration. Keep this tab visible while recording.

04 / LaserCube playback

Two ways into LaserOS.

Import a prepared loop

  1. Download and extract the SVG sequence ZIP.
  2. In desktop LaserOS, open Import → Import folder with SVG animation.
  3. Select the frames folder. Use prefix morph-, mask size 3 and the FPS shown in the included guide.
  4. Review it in the LaserOS simulator, adjust render quality and assign the animation to a playlist.

Play the controls live

  1. Choose Open clean live output, then press Play in this studio.
  2. Put the clean window on a dedicated display or capture it in your video workflow. Keep the studio on a separate display so its controls stay out of the capture.
  3. In desktop LaserOS, select Settings → Video Input → Desktop, then open Cast. On supported Mac setups, a Syphon workflow is another option.
  4. Test in the simulator before enabling your projector. The website does not connect to or arm a LaserCube.

Cast traces a raster image into laser outlines; the imported SVG sequence preserves vector artwork. Actual scanner loading, frame rate and shape quality must be checked in LaserOS. Keep the projection terminated away from people and use the manufacturer’s setup guidance.
