Acoustic Architecture

A physics-based exploration of how frequency, resonance and reverberation can inform architectural form. The AcousticArch Engine connects a generator, approximate simulation, a research graph and model export.

From frequency to form

The source project explores open and closed tubes, Helmholtz resonators, domes and echo planes. It includes a Python desktop interface, command-line tools, Blender integration and STL/GLB export.

A desktop tool within the archive

The full source is preserved in the Temple repository. This page introduces the project; the desktop generator and Blender integration run separately and are not a live web service on this Hostatom edition.

Its formulas and models are approximations for design exploration. They do not replace measured acoustic evaluation, structural review or fabrication checks.
